Prepared for the ABN Town Meetings, Spring 2002

"Popular Government without popular information, or the means of acquiring it, is but a prologue to a farce or a tragedy, or perhaps, both. Knowledge will forever govern ignorance, and a people who mean to be their own governors must arm themselves with the power which knowledge brings." -- James Madison

For people who are interested in more information about the Town Meeting topics, or want to get more involved in action, these are just a few of the organizations, agencies and information resources available, many of which were used to compile the Fact Sheets for the meetings. Each of these will lead the way to others.
